La Academia Británica de las Artes Cinematográficas y Televisivas (Bafta, por sus siglas en inglés) tiene su gala de premiación para otorgar los correspondientes reconocimientos a su industria cinematográfica, que llega a la 70º edición. Este evento se realizará el próximo domingo 12 de febrero en Londres y será conducido por el actor Stephen Fry.
Al parecer, con 11 nominaciones el musical «La La Land» de Damien Chazelle se perfila para ser una de las películas más premiadas este año, ya que figura en 11 de las categorías destacadas de los Bafta (además de los recientes Golden Globes obtenidos). Detrás se ubican las cintas «Arrival» y «Nocturnal Animals» con 9 distinciones cada una.
